Becky Ruth's Story
Well, here goes...I married Rodney Gadbury in 1969. We had two children, my son Chris, and my daughter Rhonda. Rodney passed away in 1986. I never attended college, I always wanted too, but single parents have to work and so that is about all I have done even up to now. I did get remarried to a wonderful man, Mike, who works as a parole officer for the state, and we are close to celebrating 25 years of marriage. I worked different jobs through the years but mostly in manufacturing. Hard work, and never high wages, but guess what? By the grace of God, I am still here! I give him all the praise and glory for it. I now work for a bio medical facility thats main production is heart cathete...Expand for more
rs. This job is a sit down job at least, as my last job, with our local hospital, kept me on my feet for 10 hours a day. I feel grateful just to still have a job because of the direction that our nation is headed, and with unemployment on the rise. I love sewing, quilts mostly, and love all animals...dogs are my favorites and I have two of my own. I have 3 grandchildren who are all wonderful kids and I love them as much as a grandma ever could. I love my life, have my health so far, and I feel that I am very blessed. I've really enjoyed hearing from some of my classmates from long ago, and I enjoy reading all about what others have been doing for all of these years. God bless you all!
